Wow, Rex Ryan is very mad about the Dallas Cowboys giving wide receiver Amari Cooper a humongous five-year, $100 million contract.
On Friday morning during an appearance on ESPN’s Get Up, the former NFL head coach went off about how Cooper disappears on the road and against top cornerbacks, stops on routes and more, adding, “I wouldn’t have paid this turd. No way in hell.”
Wow.
Now, look: I agree that Cooper did get too much money and that it’s Dak Prescott who should be paid. But after he exploded post-Raiders trade in 2018 and had 1,189 yards and eight touchdowns last season, maybe this is a bit too harsh?
