Rewind Festival has announced a date for its Scone Palace return this summer with an exciting line-up.

The 1980s music celebration event will taking place between July 21-23 with Erasure’s Andy Bell to make his Rewind debut as Saturday’s headliner.

Erasure have sold over 25 million albums and achieved five consecutive number ones on the UK album chart with hit singles like “A Little Respect”, “Sometimes” and “Always.”

Sunday will be headlined by Squeeze, also making their first Rewind bow, who had top-10 chart hits with the singles “Cool for Cats”, “Up the Junction”, “Labelled with Love.”

Other artists include Tony Hadley, UB40, Marc Almond, Go West, ABC, Midge Ure, Nik Kershaw, Martin Kemp, Toyah, Nick Heyward, Soul II Soul, and many more.

The main stage show will be hosted by Pat Sharp (Greatest Hits Radio) on the Sunday, and by The Doctor (Dr and The Medics).

The Pink Flamingo Club will once again be in 80s themed nightclub Big Top, with headline DJs Jenny Powell, Pat Sharp and The Doctor spinning all-time favourite 80s tunes to keep the party atmosphere going well into the night.

Disco Inferno will open up every day as well as silent discos, funfair rides, kid-zone with entertainment for the little Rewinders.

Greatest Hits Radio’s Jenny Powell said: “I had an absolute blast at Rewind last year and it was great to be able to share all the best bits of this incredible festival with Greatest Hits Radio listeners - I know they’ll be as excited as I am to find out which 80s superstars are hitting the stage for this year’s shows!

“I’ll be reuniting with my Greatest Hits Radio colleagues Pat Sharp and Martin Kemp and cannot wait to see you all there for the good times and great music.

”Yes, this year is bigger than ever and an event for us all to look forward to!”

Tickets on sale online from 9am today (January 27), with tickets also available in person from Scone Palace from February 3.

Full line-up details are available at the Rewind Festival website.
