The Ogden Park Post Office, 6559 S. Ashland, and several UPS stores were closed Wednesday in the aftermath of the looting.
Looting was reported throughout the city and suburbs over the weekend after access to downtown Chicago was restricted following protests that turned violent in the wake of the Minneapolis police killing of George Floyd.
An estimated 2,000 people were arrested over the weekend in Cook County, according to Sheriff Tom Dart.
