Ohio State played tough for large portions of the game on Saturday in College Park, but couldn’t quite reel the Terps in. Maryland was just too solid at all positions and had an answer for every run the Buckeyes threw at it.
As a result, Ohio State drops another Big Ten game to fall to 7-9 and continues to sit evermore squarely on the NCAA bubble.
Chris Holtmann had some positive things to say about his team’s ability to compete, but also heaped high praise on the Maryland basketball team.

The Buckeyes will be in action again on Tuesday against Iowa at home. It’s one they need to find a way to win. We’ll have a preview of that game on Monday.
