Review: M&D's Theme Park serve up a spine-tingling Halloween horror experience

The ultimate Halloween scarefest has returned to Strathclyde Park and its proving as popular as ever!

M&D’s infamous Darkotber season is back and here at Lanarkshire Live we popped along to experience the thrills of this year's spine-chilling theme, Anarchy!.

And Anarchy it was, with danger lurking around every corner, chaos ensued as we ran for our lives - well, not quite our lives but we were pretty terrified.

Without giving too much away, it is definitely not for the faint-hearted as you step into an immersive apocalyptic world, becoming part of the story, where anarchy exists and the mission is to safely find your way through the maze, outrunning the many threatening characters and decaying zombies along the way!

Actors with the scariest of costumes and make-up are literally everywhere you turn - all appearing from the darkness with loud thuds, screaming, creepy settings and the fear of the unknown all adding to this fantastic frightening and innovative experience.

Jensen Taylor Connelly told Lanarkshire Live : "This is one of our favourite times of year when the days are getting darker and we’re looking for some fun to mark the new season.

" Anarchy is a fast-paced experience with special effects that are definitely not for the faint hearted but in contrast the Pumpkin Outdoor Festival is a great day out for all the family."

Visitors are reminded to dress appropriately for the outdoor experiences. Tickets for Anarchy are priced from £14 and can be booked online.
