Revenue seize over €1.3 million euro worth of cannabis in Dublin and Meath

Revenue officers have seized over €1 million worth of herbal cannabis in parts of Dublin and Meath today.

The seizure took place earlier today as part of a joint operation between Revenue and Gardai. Two arrests followed the massive drugs seizure.

A man in his 30s and a man in his 40s are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda station in North Dublin. Investigations into the incident remain ongoing.

The seizure fell under Revenue's ongoing efforts targeting the importation and sale of illegal drugs. Anyone with information on drug smuggling can contact Revenue in confidence at 1800 295 295.
