Revenue seize cocaine hidden in pair of 'Nike Air Max' at Dublin Mail Centre

Revenue officials seized drugs worth over €25,000 following searches of parcels at the Dublin Mail Centre this afternoon.

The drugs - 1.2kgs of herbal cannabis and 20g of cocaine with an estimated street value of €25,400 - were discovered in four parcels that originated in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Officials were assisted by detector dog Bailey during their searches.

All of the parcels were destined for addresses in Dublin.

The three parcels that contained herbal cannabis were declared as ‘Vintage Tommy, ‘Hot Wheels toy car’, and ‘Forever21 Woman’s coat’.
