Revenue and gardai seized almost 2kg of cannabis worth €38,000 stuffed inside in a microwave.
The machine was concealed inside a box and when it was opened, a bag full of the drugs were found.
The discovery was made in Kilbarrack in Dublin following a search of a premises on Wednesday.
The seizure was part of an ongoing joint investigation targeting organised crime groups in the area.
The operation involved Customs officers, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and Gardaí from the Clontarf Drugs Unit.
A 29-year-old Irishman was arrested at the scene by gardai.
He was detained under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Clontarf Garda Station.
Investigations are ongoing.
