These are the bitter exes and bullies who shared sexual images of their victims on social media or even with their family members.
Their sickening, spiteful and illegal behaviour landed them in court after their victims found the courage to press charges.
ECHO readers were left disgusted by the vile actions of these men, who tormented their victims and put them through hell.
In many cases, images were sent as part of trusting and consensual relationships but were then used to cause major distress to their victims after things ended.
In one case, a court heard how a former soldier sent a naked photo of his ex to her "horrified" mother.
Barry McLaren sent the naked photo, taken while the couple were together, after they split, leaving the victim "completely shocked" and "sick".
We have detailed recent 'revenge porn' cases to have come before our region's courts below.
In each case, the ECHO has chosen not to name any of the victims of these crimes.
Andrew Rwakarehemuganyezi

One possessive ex made nearly 20 fake Instagram accounts and posted naked pictures of his former partner on them.
Andrew Rwakarehemuganyezi also logged on to the woman's personal account to share an ultrasound of a baby he was having with another woman after he "bombarded" his victim with calls.
A court heard that the woman had ended their six-year relationship and "within days" the 25-year-old began to incessantly call his ex, who resorted to blocking his calls.
When Rwakarehemuganyezi found her business number he began the calls again until she blocked him once more.
He would then post 15 images of the victim on the fake Instagram accounts over a two month period.
Rwakarehemuganyezi, of Cherry Gardens, Kirkby, admitted disclosing a private sexual photograph or film without consent intending to cause distress and harassment.
He was jailed for six months and an indefinite restraining order was imposed.
Barry McLaren
A former soldier sent a naked picture of his ex to her mother, leaving his victim feeling "completely shocked".
Barry McLaren shared the picture after the pair split in January 2019 following an assault.
A court heard the couple remained in touch but McLaren, of Howell Drive, Greasby, then became inappropriate and angry.
The 48-year-old threatened to share the picture, which his victim believed had been deleted, if she didn't stop getting phone bills sent his mother's house.
The woman organised for the letters to stop, but later heard from her own mum who said she had been sent the photo leaving her "disgusted" and "horrified".
McLaren's victim later spoke to the ECHO detailing the 'humiliating' experience.
A court heard he had admitted disclosing a private sexual photograph with intent to cause distress and had no similar previous convictions.
McLaren received eight-week sentence suspended for 18 months. He was also ordered to undertake 180 hours of unpaid work as well as pay £85 in costs and a £90 victim surcharge.
A restraining order was also imposed preventing McLaren from getting in touch with his victim.
Shazaib Shafqat
A revenge porn bully created a Whatsapp group to send his victim's family sexual images of her.
Shazaib Shafqat vowed to put the woman and her family "through hell" after harassing his victim with up to 200 calls and texts a day.
When the woman didn't respond to one of his messages, he sent an explicit photo of the victim to her friend alongside the message "You think I've only got one? I've got more".
Despite the victim begging him not to send the images, the 20-year-old shared two other explicit images and a video clip of the victim.
In another message, he said: "Plenty, plenty more. Send them around. All these to her aunts and uncles, everyone."
Shafqat, of Saxony Road in Kensington, pleaded guilty to disclosing sexual photographs and putting a person in fear of violence by harassment.
He has six previous convictions for eight offences, including an assault against a man at Nelson and Colne College in 2018.
Shafqat was jailed for 24 months and given a five-year restraining order.
Sam Long

A jealous boyfriend who shared naked pictures of his ex on Instagram walked free from court after blaming cocaine and booze binges for his offending.
Sam Long stole the woman's underwear and cut up her clothes with scissors after she dumped him.
Long, 25, also sent his victim a video of them having sex and told her it had gone "all over town".
A court heard he became "jealous and possessive" of his partner and accused her of cheating on him, posting two images from the private clip online.
The woman also returned home to discover she was locked out, and found items including " a box of underwear" had been taken with £1,600 of damage also caused.
He admitted stalking after being originally charged with harassment, theft, criminal damage and disclosing a private sexual photo with the intention of causing harm or distress.

Gary Harrington-Walsh

A jilted boyfriend sent naked pictures of a teacher to her school in the Middle East and posted a sex tape of her on Pornhub.
Gary Harrington-Walsh claimed the woman owed him rent and threatened to kill himself when his victim ignored him.
When she continued to refuse to talk to him he said he would put pictures and videos of them having sex online and send them to her employers.
The 31-year-old of North Parade, Hoylake, then carried out the threat after discovering she had moved to the Middle East.
In one message the jilted boyfriend said: "I will send every nude and rude picture and video to your school. That will make all your male pupils happy."
