Revealed: Who are Nottingham Forest's five most valuable players?

Nottingham Forest will have seen the market values of a number of their star players soar this season, thanks to the club's stunning Championship form.

The likes of Joe Worrall and Matty Cash have received plenty of attention from Premier League clubs this term, if reports are to be believes.

But who is the Sabri Lamouchi's most expensive player? Well, popular football statistics website TransferMarkt have crunched the number and revealed a run down of the club's most valuable stars.

5) Lewis Grabban, £4.05m

Forest's star striker joined the club for a fee of in the region of £6m back in 2018 and will certainly have more than repaid the club should his goals help fire Lamouchi's side to the Premier League.

Grabban has scored 32 goals in his first 71 league outings for the Reds, 16 of which have come this season.

Linked with a shock move to Arsenal in the summer, Forest academy graduate Worrall is ranked fourth on TransferMarkt's list.

His £5.4m valuation makes him the club's most expensive defender, beating AC Milan target Matty Cash to that honour.

After returning from a season-long loan spell with Steven Gerrard's rangers last season, Worrall is fast closing in on his 100th Reds appearance.

=3) Joe Lolley, £5.40m

Forest's talisman, Lolley has been sensational since returning since joining from Huddersfield Town.

The City Ground's Messi has been a key cog in the Lamouchi machine this season and is valued at £5.4m, the same as teammate Worrall.

He joined the club for just 10% of that in 2018.

2) Adama Diakhaby, £7.20m

You would not have thought it from seeing his opening performances in Gariabldi, but Adama Diakhaby is, according to TransferMarkt, Forest's second most valuable player.

The Huddersfield Town loanee looks set to complete a permanent move to the club in the summer, if reports are to be believed.

He joined the Terriers for £9m in 2018 and is now rated slightly lower than that, at £7.20.

1) Joao Carvalho, £7.20m

Having been made Forest's record transfer in 2018, it is no surprise that Joao Carvalho is considered the club's most expensive player.

The 22-year-old midfield maestro has been in and out of Lamouchi's team this season, but his technical quality is still so highly rated on Trentside.

He joined the club from Benfica for a fee of £13, but is now valued at £7.2m
