Nottingham Forest transfer values: What the Reds players are worth - report

Nottingham Forest have proven themselves to be smart in the transfer market in recent seasons, since Evangelos Marinakis bought the club.

This season is evidence of that, with the Reds challenging for promotion to the Premier League prior to the suspension of football due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Under the guidance of Sabri Lamouchi, Forest currently lie in fifth place in the Sky Bet Championship table, with nine league fixtures remaining.

But how much are the Forest players worth? Is their market value higher of lower than when the Reds signed them?

Here, we take a look at some of their star players, using the values on Transfermarkt.

Brice Samba - £3.6m

The French goalkeeper has enjoyed a brilliant first season with the club, following his arrival last summer from Caen for a reported fee of 2m euros.

Joe Worrall - £6.3m

The young defender is back where he belongs after a season on loan at Rangers, and the value of the academy graduate is back on the rise.

Matty Cash - £5.4m

Linked with a surprise move to AC Milan this season, Cash's market value is the highest it has ever been.

Joao Carvalho - £4.5m

Forest's club record signing for £13.2m from Benfica, the Portuguese ace's value has dropped considerably as he's struggled to adapt to life in the Championship.

Joe Lolley - £7.2m

Lolley was linked with a move to Premier League Aston Villa last summer, which was no surprise given his form for the Reds. His value was just £450,000 when he moved to the City Ground from Huddersfield.
