REVEALED: The null and void paper trail including minutes junior beaks wanted destroyed

Here's the paper trail that proves Junior football chiefs agreed to null and void the season - before an intervention from Auchinleck Talbot director Colin Chisholm.

We exclusively revealed earlier this evening how the West Region Management Committee agreed to write off the 2019/20 campaign at a meeting on April 14.

However, just a week later Auchinleck Talbot were crowned champions using an average points by game formula.

The documents in the gallery below chart a time-line of correspondence that begins with the null and void decision being made.

We then see an email dated April 15 from Mr Chisholm, who is also acting President of the Region, to WRJFA secretary John Fyfe in which he argues that a failure to declare league winners could lead to problems nominating a side for participation in next season's senior Scottish Cup.

Mr Chisholm suggests that using an average points per game formula to decide leagues would be more likely to satisfy SFA chief executive Rod Petrie.

Then, on April 17, Mr Fyfe issues a round-robin email - also included -  asking management committee members to destroy the April 14 minutes.
