Do you have a spare couple of million to buy a house?
Well if you're weighing up the market, these are the North East's most expensive house sales in the last 24 years.
The Land Registry first started publishing records in 1995, and there have been 284 sales in the region where properties sold for more than £1m.
The most expensive sale recorded was on Adderstone Crescent, Jesmond , where the house sold for £4.7m on May 1, 2014.

In March 2011, another property on the street sold for £3.7m, making it the second most expensive home.
Also featuring in the list was Runnymede Road in Ponteland, with properties sold for £3.2m and £3m.
Dubbed 'millionaires' row', the street has seen 19 homes change hands for £1m or more over the last decade.

A house sold for £3.6m on Springfield House on Spoutwell Lane, Northumberland, in April 2014, while one on Springfield House on Oakfield Road in Newcastle went for £3.1m in 2009.
The area’s first £1m house sale was Flass Vale Hall in Crossgate Moor, Durham, which sold for £1.25m on March 11, 1998.
The number of sales at £1m or more has grown from one in 1998 to 35 in 2018.
But there are two areas of the North East that have never seen a home sell for more than £1m or more.
Both Gateshead and Sunderland have never seen a property sell for more than £1m.
The most expensive sale so far in Gateshead was on Cornmoor Road in Whickham, which sold for £999,000 in June 2013, while the most expensive sale in Sunderland was in Waterside Gardens, Washington, for £985,000 in December 2018.
The Price Paid Data includes information on all residential property sales in England and Wales that are sold for full market value and then registered with the Land Registry (this usually takes between two weeks and two months after a sale is complete).
The data doesn’t include sales that were not for market value, such as discounted right to by sales, gifts and compulsory purchase orders, or sales of shares of a property.
