A food producer, a betting company and a construction equipment manufacturer are among the Midlands companies recognised in a prestigious league table.
In total, 13 firms in the Midlands have made it into this year's Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 100 - which ranks Britain's 100 private companies with the biggest sales.
The region's top-ranked company is Staffordshire digger-maker JCB which boasts a 10,000-strong workforce.
Ranking at number 11, JCB enjoyed profits of £266 million and sales of more than £3.4bn for the year end December 2017.
Just behind JCB at number 12 is the Birmingham-based 2 Sisters Food Group, which boasts brands such as Fox's, Holland's and Matthew Walker.
The food producer employs more than 21,000 staff and up until July 2018, boasted sales of £3.3bn and profits of £115 million.
Other companies featured in the table include Stoke-on-Trent gambling-giant bet365 which was ranked at number 16.
The company - which employs more than 4,200 people - saw its turnover grow by 25 per cent to £2.9bn in 2018 as customers in more than 100 countries bet on 160,000 live sporting events.
Together, the Midlands firms in this year's league table achieved sales of £23.4bn and profits of £1.6bn in their latest financial year, and employ more than 83,000 people collectively.
Elsewhere, well-known British names such as Clarks, Iceland, John Lewis Partnership, Nando's and Specsavers also made this year's list.
In total, the 100 companies reached a record £220bn in sales - up 14 per cent on the prior year - and total profits of £24.6bn.
