Revealed: The full amount Premier League clubs paid to agents this year

Premier League clubs spent a whopping £260.6m on agents and intermediaries between February 2018 and January 2019, new information from the FA has revealed.

The figure has increased from £211m the previous year, with Liverpool the highest spenders to agents for the second year in a row - paying out £42.8m, an increase on the £25m figure they paid previously.

Chelsea are the second-highest on the list, paying £26.9m, while Manchester City have paid £24.1m and Manchester United have paid £20.8m in this period - with the top-four showing no change from the previous year.

Relegated Huddersfield Town and Fulham splashed a combined amount of over £13m in their unsuccessful bid to remain in the Premier League, while Tottenham Hotspur paid £11.1m despite not signing a single player in each of the past two transfer windows.

Cardiff City paid the lowest amount to agents with a figure of £2.8m, followed by Burnley’s £3.9m.
