Revealed: The Bristol City players whose 2018/19 stats show their importance to the club

The 2018/19 Championship campaign has drawn to a close and Bristol City face another season in the second tier.

Having narrowly missed out on the play-offs it is time to take stock and reflect on an ultimately successful year at Ashton Gate.

Robins boss Lee Johnson has made clear that he intends to be "bold" in the summer transfer window.

That has already been demonstrated with Eros Pisano and Stefan Marinovic released as Bristol City reshape squad for next season and Frank Fielding being released by the club on Tuesday.

Lee Johnson, his staff and the board will now be analysing where things need to improve, where things have been good and what areas need reinforcement.

How next season's Championship is predicted to look - where Bristol City, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough come according to the bookies

Statistics go some way to showing that. They reveal that the Robins simply aren't scoring enough as well as Josh Brownhill's importance to the team as someone who has an impact across the park.

Here is an in-depth look at Bristol City's statistics and the players who led the way this season.
