Revealed: The Arsenal challenge that Nottingham Forest could face tonight

Arsenal may go into tonight’s Carabao Cup clash against Nottingham Forest on the back of a win, but there weren’t too many impressive performances.

The Gunners claimed a 3-2 victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday, where they twice came from behind to earn all three points against the claret and blue.

A penalty from record signing Nicolas Pepe and a brace from the ever-reliable Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang secured the win for Unai Emery’s Gunners.

That win moved Arsenal up to fourth in the Premier League table, while Forest’s 1-0 victory over Barnsley on Saturday saw them climb up to sixth in the Sky Bet Championship.

Both Emery and Sabri Lamouchi are expected to make wholesale changes to their starting line-ups for tonight’s match.
