Revealed: Manchester United's stance over Paul Pogba following Real Madrid links; Liverpool set £198m asking price for star player; Arsenal tracking Premier League star

The Premier League season is rapidly reaching a conclusion and as such things are being decided at both ends of the table.

Whether it’s the engaging title race between Liverpool and Manchester City or the dreaded relegation battle, sides have already begun planning for next season in a bid to give themselves a better chance of success.

Without further ado here are the latest Premier League rumours.

We start in Manchester, where Paul Pogba is once again discussing his future. The French international has been linked to Real Madrid as part of Zinedine Zidane’s rebuild of the Spanish giants.

He has previously encouraged the rumours, but now voiced his happiness at Old Trafford according to Goal.com.

Solskjaer said of Pogba: “Paul is a very nice and polite man who answered a general question on Zidane as an icon in France, a fantastic manager, he used to be a fantastic player and he's just politely answered that question.

“But Paul’s happy here, he's going to be a big, big part (of future plans). You like to build your team around him and that hasn't changed at all.”

The same can’t be said for his teammate Ander Herrera. The Spanish midfielder joined Man Utd from Athletic Bilbao, but is out of contract in the summer.

Now, the Daily Record are reporting that Herrera has agreed a pre-contract deal with Paris St-Germain. The deal will be a free transfer, and comes after the club refused to bow the midfielder’s wage demands.

One club looking to break their transfer record is Tottenham Hotspur. It’s been a quiet season for Spurs on a transfer front, but that looks set to change this summer as they set their sights on Everton defender Michael Keane. According to the Express, both Spurs and Arsenal are chasing the defender, and a bid in the region of £50 million is being discussed.

Spurs aren’t only chasing Keane, however. The North London club have joined the race to sign Douglas Costa according to Tuttosport. The 28-year-old is a target for Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and PSG, who have all previously been linked with the winger.

One man that won’t be moving to North London is Nathen Ake. The Dutch defender has been linked to Man Utd and Tottenham, but Eddie Howe has been quick to pour cold water on things according to the Bournemouth Daily Echo.

Their North London rivals Arsenal are also planning some moves for the summer and have begun tracking Ryan Fraser, according to the Mirror. Unai Emery’s side are also said to be in advanced talks with Brazilian club Ituano over a £6.5m deal for 17-year-old winger Gabriel Martinelli, according to The Sun.

The Gunners aren’t just looking to add to their playing staff, however, and have identified Marseille’s Andoni Zubizarreta as their main target for the role of Sporting Director. According to L'Equipe the former Barcelona goalkeeper is tempted by the offer.

Wolves already boast a strong Portuguese contingent at the club, and it appears they have identified another man from the country to join their posse. Cedric Soares, on loan at Inter Milan from Southampton, is being targeted, according to Tuttosport. The deal would be a temporary one as they seek to offer Matt Doherty competition at wing-back.

And finally, Liverpool’s Sadio Mane has been in sensational form for the Reds this season, and that has drawn the interest of Real Madrid. Zidane is undertaking a massive overhaul of the football club this summer and has identified the Senegalese forward as a potential target.

Real made an enquiry about Mane but according to OK Diario, Liverpool’s price is  a whopping £198M, with the Daily Star reporting Madrid’s response.
