Revealed: How much League One clubs paid agents in the last year - including Sunderland, Bristol Rovers and Charlton Athletic

League One clubs paid over £5m to agents in the last 12 months.

The FA have released figures for how much each club has spent on agent fees from February 2018 to the end of January 2019.

Collectively, League One clubs spent £5,559,679 on agent fees - up over £2m from the previous year, when clubs spent £3,527,338 on fees.

That is most likely to do with Sunderland's presence in League One this year, with the Black Cats having paid out £2,873,033 on agent fees.

Bristol Rovers spent £96,852 on agent fees, which is around the average amount for the rest of the division.

It is up from the previous year, when the Gas spent £62,353 on agent fees.
