I had no choice about whether or not I'd ride in the rain and cold—that's just a part of motorcycling in Ireland. You ride or you walk, either way, you get wet and cold, unless you have the right gear. So, forgive me if I get a little more excited than most about Fall/Winter gear collections—this time it's the 2025 range from Rev'it!.
Rev'it!'s latest gear covers just about every type of riding you can imagine and even has a special Pol Tarres collaboration. Let's dive into the range that's had the highest number of new arrivals to the collection—the DIRT Series.
The DIRT Series has unisex fit across the range, with the aim of allowing riders of all sizes to have access to lightweight, durable gear while maintaining CE certification. The highlights of this collection include the Component 3 H20 Jacket & Pants, Territory 2 Jacket & Pants, Peninsula 2 Pants, Blackwater 3 H20 Smock, Sierra 2 Jersey, and the Barrier 2 H20 Rain Jacket.

The next collection from Rev'it! comes with a warning—"just because you can look like him in the new products, does not mean you can ride like him." Of course, this is the Pol Tarres Capsule: No limits, No Compromises range. This collection was made in collaboration with Tarres, and the products were altered to match the specifications of his needs.
Highlights of the No Limits, No Compromises include:
- Vision H20 Jacket—rally-inspired, waterproof, and ventilated
- Lejano Pants—in-boot, active fit design built for Tarres' signature off-road style
- Africa, Thirteen Jersey, and Morocco Jackets—purpose-built for hot and demanding rally raid conditions
- Trazada Sweater—casual-cool off-bike looks with protective features
- Escondido and Tacto Gloves—lightweight, bar-focused gloves designed to Pol's personal preference

The Metropolitan line is made for urban riders who refuse to put their bike away just because the sun decides to take a few months off. The range combines a minimal design with technical performance, and best of all, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
The Shade 2 H20 (Men's & Ladies) is a minimalistic softshell waterproof jacket, which should make an easy go-to for riders who don't know what way the weather is going to turn throughout the day, and costs around $269.
Anyone who's let the wet and cold sink into their hands knows how dangerous it can get—I've had times riding to Dublin city center when I didn't know how many more pulls of the clutch my left hand had in it. Well, for those who face similar situations, Rev'it! has the Hydra 3 H2O Gloves (Men's & Ladies), which are fairly sleek—for gloves with a waterproof liner and Thinsulate—and cost around $119.

I think every rider has a memory of feeling the rain get in through their boots and realizing the long trip ahead of them was about to get even longer, or worse, putting a fresh sock on just to jam your food through a soggy inner boot and start the day off on the wrong foot. Well, Rev'it! is launching a completely new footwear strategy in the hopes of getting more riders into their boots.
The new footwear strategy begins with the brand's four Adventure Touring boots, which feature both GORE-TEX and Hydratex membranes, so they should keep your socks as dry as the desert without sacrificing comfort. Those who are interested in touring performance should check out the Grit GTX, which comes in at $299. But if you're after a hybrid boot that bridges the gap between motorcycle touring functionality and go-anywhere outdoor footwear, the Dredge H20 does just that, and comes in at about $259.
I'd happily take a piece out of each of these ranges and give it the Robbie Bacon shakedown, but out of all the new Fall/Winter 2025 gear, what's your favorite and why is it from the Pol Tarres collection?
