Missing boy Reuben, 16, found after police appeal

A teenage boy with links to Bristol been found after he went missing from Newport.

Police in Wales had launched an appeal to find Reuben Schultz, 16, after he went missing on Friday (March 12).

Avon and Somerset Police had also urged anyone in the Bristol area who could help to come forward.

Gwent Police shared a missing persons appeal on Saturday (March 13) with a description, encouraging people to get in touch if they had seen the teenager or knew where he might be.

An update today (Sunday) confirmed that he has since been located.

Posting on Facebook just after 3pm, the force said: "16-year-old Reuben Schultz, from #Newport, who had been reported missing has now been found.

"Thanks for sharing our appeal."

Almost 1,000 people had shared the initial appeal on social media within an hour of it being posted.

Police did not give any further information about where he was found.
