Reuben Foster situation still doesn’t have a timeline

Don’t expect a verdict on the Reuben Foster situation any time soon.

With NFL owners at league meetings this week, the topic of the Washington Redskins linebacker was bound to come up.

According to The Athletic’s Tarik El-Bashir, when it did, those in charge revealed there still isn’t a timetable on the decision.

Foster had charges against him dropped, but NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was vague when asked about the league’s investigation back in January.

For his part, Redskins president Bruce Allen has said “it’s time for him to play football.”

The Redskins are counting on having Foster next season, especially after cutting Zach Brown and bringing on a new linebackers coach. But the league remains in a holding pattern as it pertains to the investigation and possible punishment.
