Return to top flight sees Livingston net record profit

Livingston’s return to the Premiership has brought them success both on and off the pitch after they posted record profits.

For the year ending June 2019, their first season back in the top flight, the club recorded a profit of £367,530 – an increase of more than £320,000 on the previous year’s figure.

Having made a return to the Premiership for the first time in 12 years, they surprised many with a ninth-place finish last term.

And they were on course to better that mark this season, sitting in fifth place under the leadership of Gary Holt prior to the coronavirus outbreak.

Meanwhile, the club intend to make use of the government’s job retention scheme during the shutdown and pay all staff a full salary.
