Scots gyms have been given the green light to reopen on August 31.
Exercise facilities were among the first businesses to close as the coronavirus pandemic swept Scotland from March.
Gym buffs have been crying out for information on their return since then - and their prayers have finally been answered.
The Scottish Government had initially earmarked September 14 as the first date of reopening.
However, Nicola Sturgeon appeared satisfied with the progress that Scotland is making in tackling the virus to push the date forward for an August return.
The First Minister also stated that reopening them earlier would have “wider physical and mental health benefits”.
Gyms across the country are already gearing up for the big reopen - with some of the big chains already revealing their safety protocols in place for then.
