Return of £8 Marks & Spencer Christmas favourite sends sweet-toothed fans wild

Sweet toothed fans could barely contain their excitement after a new snack hit the shelves of Marks and Spencers. The high street retailer popular for its homeware, lingerie, clothing, shoes and food range has become one to watch in the run-up to big events including Halloween and Christmas.

The festive season may be three months away, however, Christmas fans were close to doing cartwheels of joy when they spotted the snack across social media. Eagle-eyed foodie fans were ecstatic with the return of the M&S product as announced on the dedicated foodie page Snack News & Reviews.

As reported by Liverpool Echo, the new M&S Very Merry Munch Tin has proved a hit with fans. Many were quick to tag friends and share the news.

Sharing the photo, the page said: “Very Merry Munch Tins are back at Marks and Spencer - £8.” The post racked up hundreds of likes and comments from excited shoppers wanting to get their hands on the Christmas tin.

Fans can lift the lid and dive into a festive mix of milk and white chocolate popcorn, salted and dark chocolate pretzels, milk chocolate peanuts and caramel almonds. On Instagram, Jordancfrost wrote: "That merry berry munch was so good last year!"

Kevssnackreviews wrote: "I’ll definitely be getting a tin for Xmas. They also do it in smaller bags." Stephenlalley said: "Very merry munch is back!"

One worried shopper who faced supply issues last year was hopeful in being able to get hold of it this year. mrspimley said: "Couldn't get hold of that Merry Munch anywhere last year, I need to get looking now!!!" Lisa Thornham wrote on Facebook: "Don’t think they would last until Christmas, I’d need to hide them from myself."

Tracey Hind-Wilderspin said: "Definitely getting this again, had it last year. Bit pricey, but it’s very yummy! Worth it." The Very Merry Munch Tin is priced at £8.
