If you're a bedroom programmer, want to be one or love one and you love retro games, you could be a contender in the 2006 Retro Remakes competition. You've three months to create your opus, and there's a pretty spectacular kitty of prizes valued at over £4,000 to be won.
There are few rules, but the most important one is that the games must be accessible to people of all physical abilities. If you don't know what that means, check out Barrie Ellis' Oneswitch.org.uk, a site which promotes titles that can be controlled with only one switch.
