The latest update for Retro Bowl College is now available to download on iOS and Android. A crash that happens when you punt was discovered after release. So it’s best to hold off on punting for now or wait for the upcoming fix, which should be arriving soon.
Version 1.0 brings in several features fans have been asking for, especially those familiar with the original Retro Bowl. SIM game and SIM interrupt options are now included, giving players more control over how they experience each matchup. In Exhibition Mode, players can fine-tune difficulty by adjusting the “Strength Baseline” setting—choose MINOR to keep Major teams strong, or MAJOR to keep Minor teams weak. There’s even the option to match your college squad against a pro team for a tougher, more off-the-wall challenge.
The Football History section in the Yearbook shows previous winners of the three main postseason formats through 2022 and will continue to update as your college career progresses, starting with new careers only. The League/Restarts screen is now active too, offering insights like your team’s conference record, fund cap and top-25-ranked opponents.
The editor has been improved so that changes made to Pro Team info now show up in both player epilogues and Exhibition mode. There’s also a graphical fix for players standing on the sidelines and a correction for a route issue where inside receivers were crossing paths awkwardly with outside receivers.
