A RETAIL park just south of Aberdeen, which includes retail giants like Aldi, B&M, Home Bargains and Matalan, has been put up for sale.
Portlethen Retail Park, located just off the A90 at Muirend Road, is a recent development as it was built on the site of a former Homebase store, which closed in 2018.
The building was subsequently subdivided into two new units and is let out to Aldi and Home Bargains.
Spanning 107,072 sq ft there are four single-storey units, with each of the buildings featuring metal-clad exteriors with glazed shopfronts facing the car park and service access to the rear.
There is also a fast food truck on a rolling lease.
The site offers 530 car parking spaces and benefits from its proximity to an adjacent Asda store and McDonald's drive-through restaurant.
The retail park generates a total annual rental income of £1.35 million and has been put up for sale for £18,150,000.
Agents say the site offers a secure income profile with “undoubted covenants” with shoppers in the area spending around £19m a year on non-food items,
Regular shoppers at Portlethen Retail Park have been told they don’t need to worry as the sale won’t mean any changes.
All four of the main stores at the site, Aldi, Home Bargains, B&M and Matalan, are reportedly staying put, and the retail park will continue to operate as normal under new ownership.
