Restaurants in Dublin: Six capital places now awarded with Michelin Stars as new guide for 2020 released

Six Dublin restaurants now hold coveted Michelin Stars as the new Great Britain and Ireland Guide has been released for 2020.

The Greenhouse in Dublin City is one of the newest recipients of a Two Michelin Star award along with Aimsir in Celbridge.

Variety Jones in Dublin City was named as a new One Michelin Star restaurant along with The Oak Room at Adare Manor in Limerick and Bastion in Kinsale.

Other Dublin restaurants that hold Michelin Stars from previous years along with these city centre establishments are the Two-Star Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud and the One-Star Chapter One and L’Ecrivain in Dublin City and Liath in Blackrock village.

Speaking at its launch, Rebecca Burr, Director of the Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland, said: “This is an amazing year for the Republic of Ireland, with five new Michelin Stars being awarded – two of them at Two Star level.

"This brings the total number of Starred restaurants in Ireland up to 18 and is just reward for the determination of young chefs who are keen to make their mark on the Irish dining scene.”

Published today by tyre manufacturer Michelin, the Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2020 is available at http://travel.michelin.co.uk and in bookshops.
