A taco restaurant in the US has created the perfect response after an attempted robbery by three inept thieves on Wednesday night.
Frijoles & Frescas Grilled Tacos store on Charleston Boulevard, Las Vegas, created the two-minute video after three unidentified men attempted to rob the shop, but failed to find any money and instead stole the empty tills.
The CCTV – which captures all three inside and out the shop – has been overlaid with subtitled commentary mocking the would-be thieves.
“Poor guy just wants a taco,” the video starts before showing two men breaking into the shop.
It mocked their efforts to find any cash, or “tacos”, and appealed to the public for any information about the thieves. The video has proved a hit online, with more than 100,000 people viewing it since it was published on 17 December.
The restaurant is highly regarded by food critics, making AFP’s best Mexican food list in America earlier this year.
