Restaurant owner's 'gentle warning' to table of four who left without paying £100 bill

A group of men who dodged a £100 bill at a Liverpool restaurant have been publicly shamed on Facebook.

The owner of Los Amigos Steakhouse and Mexican has given the group of lads a 'gentle warning' to come back and pay what they owe.

The four men now have seven days to return and pay up before the owner goes to the police to report them, according to reports.

Restaurant bosses will also post pictures of them online unless the group pay up, they warned in a Facebook post.

The lads racked up a bill totalling £96.20 after ordering six two-course meals including BBQ chicken wings, nachos, burgers and a seabass, along with three pints of San Miguel and five Diet Cokes, the Liverpool Echo reports.

The Aigburth restaurant posted its plea for the men to settle the bill on Facebook, and have since been inundated with support from other punters.

The post said: "27 December 2021 at 5.15pm four boys came into the restaurant and left without paying the bill.

"We are giving you a gentle warning to come back and settle your bill or we will report to the police as well as your picture will be posted all over social media.

"You have a time scale of seven days to repay the bill. We work very hard here and for that to happen has kind of ruined our night!!!"

People commented on the post calling for the group of men to pay up.

Jay Morrow said: "Madness, hope you get the money."

Darren Melling added: "Paste them all over here for having the cheek to do it anyway."
