Restaurant manager choked pregnant employee for 'asking for too many loo breaks'

A former Taco Bell manager strangled her pregnant employee for allegedly taking too many toilet breaks.

Linda Joyce Wilkerson, 48, pleaded guilty last Friday to charges of fourth-degree assault and strangulation, Fox 12 reported.

On June 3, 2018, shocking CCTV footage revealed how Wilkerson carried out the violent attack against her employee at a Taco Bell restaurant in Portland, Oregon.

In the CCTV recording, Wilkerson can be seen yelling at her employee before slamming the door against her twice.

She then began strangling the lady, who was four months pregnant at the time.

The employee managed to push Wilkerson away, and the two continued to argue with each other before the victim left the restaurant .

Wilkerson was allegedly angry at her employee for taking too frequent breaks.

She has now been sentenced to anger management and community service.

The victim said in court on Friday: “To me it is a big deal. I was pregnant with my now-healthy son.

"That was my job. I was supposed to feel safe there. I wasn’t sure if she was going to let go of my throat.

"It was a big deal. I do believe she deserves this sentence.”

Wilkerson was sentenced to three years of formal probation and 100 hours of community service, and has been ordered to take anger management classes.

She will pay the victim $250 in compensation, and will have no contact with her.
