Restaurant chain will give you £50 free food if you pronounce its name properly

When you think of sushi, you probably also think of raw fish.

So in attempt to debunk the myth and show Brits that there's a lot more than just raw fish involved, famous Japanese restaurant Yo Sushi! has had a very bizarre transformation.

Rather than being called Yo! Sushi, the restaurant will now be known as "YO!SushiRamenKatsuStirfryCurryBaoBurgerGyozaFriesYakisobaMochiBallsFriedChickenPopcornShrimpBeefTeriyakiChocolateBrownie!" Yes, really.

Now the longest restaurant name in the world, the name change has been initiated to highlight the true extent of their menu choices, including ramen, katsu, butgers, gyoza, curry, bao buns, beef teriyaki and even chocolate brownies.

Kicking off in its Richmond branch, passers by will be confronted by a monster 121-character sign extending over 12ft, that features 17 options from the menu and even partly covers generous neighbour's Tortilla's shop front. Well, it's certainly eye-catching...

The restaurant will then roll out the name change nationwide in the coming days - alongside a way for YO! fans to bag £50 worth of free food.

YO! fans who film themselves saying the full tongue twister name and upload the content onto their social channels will be in with a chance of receiving a £50 voucher to spend in the restaurant.

There's no word on how many of the £50 vouchers are up for grabs, but we recommend tagging the Yo! brand to ensure they see it, like the true influencer you are.

Well, if we're going to win anything in life, we stand a good chance of it being for pronouncing food names...

If you aren't brave enough to share your skills online, we spotted that Yo! are on Tastecard, so you can at least still get 2 for 1 on your food if you fancy a visit.
