Restaurant chain to deliver 130 pizzas to Glasgow's homeless

A Glasgow restaurant chain is giving back by providing more than a hundred pizzas to the homeless.

Kothel Co is teaming up with Help The Homeless to provide meals to the most vulnerable in the community in an "ongoing partnership" which begins tonight.

They will also be serving pasta on Wednesday with further plans to support the group during lockdown.

Kothel’s owner Ed said: “I feel strongly about helping those in our city who need it most. It’s such a difficult time and we must support each other and stay strong.

"We knew we wanted to help and could put our great team and kitchen to good use and I’m delighted we could help such an amazing organisation.”

Kothel has cafes in Crow Road, Great Western Road and Drymen Road in Bearsden and are currently running a reduced service.
