BHOPAL: The weather changed yet again in Bhopalon Tuesday. The day as well as night temperature remained slightly above the normal mark; respite from cold was witnessed in other parts of the state too.
Met officials said, there is a cyclonic circulation over south Gujarat; it is leading to moisture incursion and clouds in the state. A few places may also witness showers. Apart from this system, the state would also have impact of western disturbance around February 18, officials added.
Day temperature in Bhopal on Tuesday was recorded at 28.7 degrees Celsius, which was at the normal mark, while night temperature was 14 degrees Celsius, a degree more than the normal mark. Wind direction in the city was northerly while average wind speed was 14 kilometres per hour.
Lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at seven degrees Celsius in Khajuraho, Rewa and Naogaon. In the forecast for Bhopal on Wednesday the met said, there would be clear sky and dry weather will prevail. Day and night temperature would be at 26 degrees Celsius and 14 degrees Celsius, respectively, while average wind speed will be 16 kmph.
In the forecast for the state met has underlined possibility of rain and thundershowers for places including Chhatarpur, Sagar, Damoh, Jabalpur, Seoni, Vidisha, Katni, Chhindwara, Balaghat and Narsinghpur.
