Residents living in a fly-tipping hotspot in Nottingham say they are "sick" of waste being dumped in their street.
A report released by Nottingham City Council identified three streets in Hyson Green as the worst affected for fly-tipping in the city - Caulton Street, Hawksley Road and Peveril Street.
They say overflowing business and residents bins and black bags are being fly-tipping on the street.
The current reduction in city council collection services to only delivering litter picks of main roads, the removal of fly tips and basic street cleansing has led to more complaints from residents in the area, which the authority say it plans to tackle going forward.
Residents living on Pevril Street say fly-tipping and rubbish being littered on the streets is a big issue that has been going on for some time.
Joe Smith, who works in the area, said: "I think the council are trying to crack down on it, which is good.

"We have to deal with it all the time here and we have been for years and years - ever since I can remember.
"People keep just dumping stuff, it's constant. It's a terrible area for it and this street it particularly bad.
"I hope it does get sorted but I'm not holding my breath."
Zoe Goodman, who has lived on Peveril Street since September last year, told Nottinghamshire Live: "It's always been this bad, it has been ever since I moved in anyway.
"It does worry me because I hate rats, and it attracts them - I've seen one just outside my house before. It's particularly bad around the corner, there's always stuff dumped there, and in the alleyway too."
Another resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "We're sick of it.
"Everyone here is sick of it. The smell is terrible. But I don't know how to fix it, because whenever anything gets cleared away, there's always more that is dumped here.
"Whoever is doing it is selfish. We have to live here."
A spokesperson for Nottingham City Council said: “Littering and fly-tipping is never acceptable or necessary and Covid adds to the need for people to do the right thing. Since the pandemic hit, people are at home more and producing more household waste. Our crews are working under Covid restrictions which make things more complicated.

“We would urge people to dispose of waste appropriately, for the sake of local communities and our stretched crews. There’s no excuse for fly-tipping in Nottingham where we operate a free bulky waste service.
“We will always respond as swiftly as possible to problems raised by Nottingham residents.”
