Residents in Dublin suburb urged to check tickets after EuroMillions win of €500,000

Residents of a Dublin suburb have been urged to check their EuroMillions tickets today after a lucky local scooped the Plus top prize of €500,000 on Friday.

Those living in Sandymount in Dublin 4 will want to check their jackets, pockets and purses after the winning Quick Pick ticket was sold in the Mace store on Sandymount Green in the coastal area on Friday.

The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers, which are worth a half million euro to one lucky player, were: 02, 04, 17, 21, 38.

While there was no winner of last night’s €115,321,837 EuroMillions jackpot, there were more than 79,000 players in Ireland who won prizes.

This Tuesday’s EuroMillions jackpot is now set to roll to an estimated €125 million.

A spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “We encourage all of our EuroMillions players who purchased a ticket for Friday night’s draw to check their tickets carefully.

"This lucky winner in Dublin who is waking up a half million euro richer this morning is the sixth player to scoop the EuroMillions Plus top prize in 2021.

"If you are the lucky winner in last night’s EuroMillions draw, please sign the back of the ticket and contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and we will make arrangements for you to collect your prize.”
