Residents given more time to have their say on the future look of community buildings

Trafford Council has announced there is still time for people to have their say on the future look of their community buildings. Consultation on the borough’s draft Design Guide and Design Code has now been extended.

The guide seeks to ensure that high-quality design, with a focus on sustainability, plays a major role in all future developments within Trafford and the new end date for comments is Friday, September 9.

Cllr Liz Patel, Executive Member for Economy and Regeneration at Trafford Council, said: “Our consultation to date has produced some brilliant comments and feedback from local people. It’s clear that there are many living in the borough who feel passionately about the way the areas they live in should look and feel.
