Residential burglaries reported in Sauganash: police

Chicago police are warning residents of three residential burglaries reported in January in Sauganash on the Northwest Side.

In each incident, someone forced their way in the front door of residences and then took property from therein, Chicago police said in a community alert. In the third burglary, the person broke in through the back door, but did not take any property.

The burglaries happened:

  • Between about 7:50 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Jan. 23, in the 6100 block of North Lowell Avenue;
  • Between about 8 a.m. and 6:05 p.m. Jan. 23, in the 6100 block of North Keeler Avenue; and
  • About 6:30 a.m. Jan. 24, in the 4200 block of West Granville Avenue.
