Chicago police are warning Humboldt Park residents of three residential burglaries reported in July in the West Side neighborhood.

In each incident, the burglar was able to break into a back door of the residence or enter through an unlocked window, remove computer equipment, gaming systems and money before fleeing, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

These burglaries happened July 3, 6 and 13 at residences in the 1000 block of North California Avenue as well as the 2700 and 2600 blocks of West Augusta Boulevard, police said. Each incident happened in the evening hours.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
