
Chicago police are warning residents of three residential burglaries reported in January in Bucktown and Wicker Park on the Northwest Side.
In each incident, an unknown person broke into or tried to break into the front door of residences, once inside, they stole property then fled, Chicago police said in a community alert.
The burglaries happened:
- About 1:15 p.m. Jan. 9, in the 2300 block of West Moffat Street;
- About 2:45 p.m. Jan 10, in the 2300 block of West North Avenue; and
- Between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 11, in the 1500 block of North Bell Avenue.
