A Horfield resident said they were left "scared, angry and worried" after several cars had tyres slashed yesterday night.
People around the area reported seeing a man at 10:45pm last night (June 16) slashing car tyres on Doone Road, Manx Road, Laxey Road, Reynolds's Walk & Sandling Avenue.
A woman and her two children also said they had been walking around the neighbourhood and saw car windows smashed.
One resident , who wished to stay anonymous, described their reaction upon finding the cars with slashed tyres.
They said: "I felt scared, angry & worried. Neighbours were feeling the same way and were confused and upset by the whole thing.
"People on the street were freaking out and my wife is 25 weeks pregnant."
The resident described how a neighbour called the police upon seeing the slashed tyres and said that this kind of act was unusual in the area.
They said: "I've been here around 2 years and there's never been this kind of trouble no. This was a deliberate attack on the neighbourhood in my opinion."
What Avon and Somerset Police said
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police confirmed the force is investigating this incident and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
They said: "We have received reports of criminal damage in the Horfield area of Bristol overnight.
"A number of vehicles suffered damage, including slashed tyres, in streets around Doone Road and Reynolds Walk.
