The Resident Evil 4 remake is finally here. Almost 20 years since the release of the original survival horror video game, Resident Evil 4 has been rebuilt and refined for the new generation of consoles and PC.
Resident Evil 4 puts players in the shoes of former rookie cop Leon Kennedy six years after the biological disaster in Raccoon City as he is sent to rescue the president’s kidnapped daughter. Game developer Capcom said this remake of the iconic sequel “preserves the essence of the original game while introducing modernised gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics.”
The game received perfect review scores from more than 30 publications ahead of its release, and has been described as a “masterpiece.” And just like its 2005 predecessor, Resident Evil 4 is chock full of challenges for gamers to sink their teeth into.

As the game drops on Friday (March 24) and players take their first steps in a journey of grueling horror, the full list of trophies and achivements has been revealed by PlayStation Trophies. The completionists are in for a tricky time and will likely need several playthroughs to conquer all 40 challenges and beat everything the game has to offer.
For those on PlayStation, the game has 25 bronze trophies, 10 silver, two gold, and as always, one platinum. This includes eight hidden trophies that are up for grabs throughout the game.
Here is the full list of trophies and achivements in the Resident Evil 4 remake:
Bronze
Knife Basics – Parry an enemy with a knife.
My Preferred Piece – Upgrade a weapon.
A Masterpiece – Get the exclusive upgrade for a weapon.
Nice One, Stranger! – Complete a request for the Merchant.
Talk About Near-Death Experience! – Rescue Ashley as she’s being carried away by the enemy.
Revolt Against the Revolting – Destroy a Clockwork Castellan.
Shield Your Eyes – Defeat three enemies at once with a flash grenade.
Never Heard It Coming – Defeat a Garrador using only knives.
Two Bugs, One Stone – Kill two parasites inside a Regenerador with a single bullet.
Overkill – Use a cannon to defeat a zealot.
Hope You Like Thrill Rides! – Make it through both minecart sections in the underground tunnel without taking any damage.
Capacity Compliance – Reach the top of the clock tower without the lift stopping once.
Smooth Escape – Escape on the water scooter without taking any damage.
Astute Appraiser – Sell a single treasure for at least 100,000 ptas.
Bandit – Obtain all treasures indicated on the village treasure map in a single playthrough.
Raider – Obtain all treasures indicated on the castle treasure map in a single playthrough.
Burglar – Obtain all treasures indicated on the island treasure map in a single playthrough.
Gun Fanatic – Obtain all weapons.
Promising Agent – Complete the main story on Standard mode or higher.
Amateur Shooter – Complete a game at the shooting range.
Trick Shot – Shoot through and destroy five targets at the shooting range with a single shot.

Silver
Jack of All Trades – Complete all requests from the Merchant.
Revolution Wind-up – Destroy all Clockwork Castellans.
Mission Accomplished S+ – Complete the main story on Standard mode with an S+ rank.
Proficient Agent – Complete the main story on Hardcore mode or higher.
Sprinter – Complete the main story within eight hours.
Frugalist – Complete the main story without using a recovery item.
Minimalist – Complete the main story using only knives and handguns. (Excluding specific battles.)
Silent Stranger – Complete the main story without talking to the Merchant once.
Gold
S+ Rank Investigator – Complete the main story on Hardcore mode with an S+ rank.
Real Deadeye – Earn an S rank in all games at the shooting range.
Platinum
Cuz Boredom Kills Me – Obtain all trophies.
Hidden Trophies
Harpoon Hurler – Defeat Del Lago (Bronze).
Grilled Big Cheese – Defeat Bitores Méndez (Silver).
Wave Goodbye, Right Hand – Defeat the Verdugo (Bronze).
No Thanks, Bro! – Defeat Ramón Salazar (Silver).
You Used to Be a Good Guy – Defeat Jack Krauser (Bronze).
You’re Small Time! – Defeat Osmund Saddler (Gold).
