
Ueno Zoo in Taito Ward, Tokyo, has decided to reopen its doors on June 23, after a coronavirus-inspired temporary closure spanning from the end of February, it has been learned. To avoid the "Three Cs," closed spaces, crowded spaces and close-contact settings, the zoo plans to limit the number of visitors per day for the time being with advance reservations. Some of the indoor exhibits are also considering limiting entry.
