LUCKNOW: Visitors at the Lucknow Zoo will now be able to see the latest addition to the zoo family, four tiger cubs, which were shifted to their enclosure on Saturday.
The four cubs were rescued from Pilibhit Tiger Reserve on March 24 and brought to Lucknow Zoo on March 25. At the time of rescue operation, the cubs were around 2-3 months old and kept in quarantine as safety protocol in the Zoo Hospital.
After nearly 2 months of quarantine, the cubs were shifted to an open-air enclosure.
They were accorded all possible care by the veterinarian in order to keep them healthy and stable. At present there are 10 Royal Bengal Tigers and 13 leopards in the zoo.
