A missing man's ute will be towed from a flooded creek in the Gold Coast hinterland, amid grave concerns for his safety.
Swift water rescue crews will try to secure a tow line to David Hornman's submerged vehicle, which was found in the swollen Canungra Creek on Wednesday.
The 38-year-old was last seen on Monday. He has not contacted his family since heading to a job in the Tamborine area of the hinterland, where torrential rain caused flash flooding this week.
The mission to retrieve Mr Hornman's white 2013 Isuzu D-Max ute is ongoing.
