Repulsed shoppers slam Lidl for taking it 'too far' with new Christmas food

Much like every other supermarket, Lidl is packed to the rafters with festive items.

Shoppers can buy everything from food and drink, to decorations and even gifts.

However, the grocer's latest launch has divided fans, with some claiming it is a 'step too far'.

Lidl is now selling a Brussels Sprouts, Stuffing, Brie and Cranberry Sauce pizza, for £3.29.

Popular food blogger Snack News & Reviews shared a photo of the pizza on Facebook and fans weren't too pleased, the Liverpool Echo reports.

The post has attracted hundreds of shoppers, who have been quick to share their opinions.

Among the comments, some users claimed they would “give it a go” while others it “sounds disgusting”.

One person wrote: “I have bought all of these. They’re ace!!” while a second added: “Yes yes and yes. Take my money now”.

A third said: “I would 1000% eat this”.

However, other shoppers disagreed and claimed it was a “a step too far”.

One person wrote: “That's just all kinds of wrong”.

Another said: “Love sprouts but that's a step too far” and a third added: “It sounds disgusting”.

A fourth wrote: “If 2020 was a pizza!”

The Brussels Sprouts, Stuffing, Brie and Cranberry Sauce pizza is available now at Lidl for £3.29.
