Reports that van stolen in West Lothian this weekend has been involved in road smash

A van stolen from a property in West Lothian this weekend has reportedly been involved in a road smash.

Two hooded men were seen stealing the vehicle from outside a property on Fallas Place, Fauldhouse, at around 9.15am yesterday.

Police issued an appeal for information as they looked to trace those responsible .

However reports on social media this evening suggest the van has now been traced in Harthill after being involved in a road smash.

Fauldhouse Watch posted on social media: "Unfortunately the van that was stolen in Fallas turned up in Harthill today and has been written off by the thieves."
