Reports that Swedish House Mafia have cancelled Creamfields 2019 set

With less than a week to go until this year's Creamfields Festival gets underway rumours have started to circulate that headliners Swedish House Mafia have cancelled.

The trio, made up of DJs Axwell, Sebastain Ingrosso and Steve Angello, are set to headline the Sunday night however there are now reports they will no longer be heading to the Daresbury site.

On Twitter, user @danielletaja said: "Creamfields group chat going crazy, don't say Swedish House Mafia have really cancelled for Sunday night?"

@Jaidedwards tweeted Creamfields saying: "have Swedish House Mafia cancelled? I need confirmation."

It seems rumours have started after Swedish House Mafia have cancelled shows throughout the summer including Weekend Festival in Finland as well as a reported secret Tomorrowland gig.

However, the ECHO has spoken to Creamfields organisers who have confirmed the DJs are still going ahead with this weekend's performance which will no doubt include hits such as Don't You Worry Child, Save The World, Greyhound and One.

Other headliners include Calvin Harris on the Saturday night.

Tickets are still available for Creamfields here.
