Reports of 'rejected' Leeds United loan bid for Liverpool's Ryan Kent

The future for Liverpool midfielder Ryan Kent has been a big talking point this week with Leeds United one of a number of clubs linked with a move for the 22-year-old .

Kent impressed on loan at Rangers last season and it looked like he might be returning to the Scottish club on a more permanent basis. The news that Rangers then looked set to sign another Liverpool winger - Sheyi Ojo - suggested the whites might have more of a chance of signing Kent than first thought.

Though there are reports that a loan deal is out of the question, rejected by Liverpool after a formal offer from Leeds. That's according to Goal .

A price tag of £12 million has been put on the player, with Kent either wanting to stay at Liverpool or make a permanent move away from Anfield.

LeedsLive understands that Kent is 'open to a move' to the club , but that Kent's representatives were waiting for a decision from Liverpool on the next move.
